Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) Recruitment 2024: Medical Officer Vacancies
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has announced recruitment for Medical Officer positions. Eligible Indian citizens, both male and female, are invited to apply for Group ‘A’ posts. These include Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant), and Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) – BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles.
Vacancy Details
- Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command): 5 vacancies
- Pay Scale: Level-12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200) as per the 7th CPC
- Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): 176 vacancies
- Pay Scale: Level-11 (Rs. 67,700 – 2,08,700) as per the 7th CPC
- Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): 164 vacancies
- Pay Scale: Level-10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) as per the 7th CPC

Application Fee
- Rs. 400 for male candidates in UR/General, OBC, and EWS categories.
- No fee for female candidates, ex-servicemen, SC, and ST candidates.
