The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released an official notification regarding the submission of Examination and Registration Return (RR) forms for certain private schools. This one-time exemption, as per Circular No. 06-JK (Edu) of 2024 dated 19-09-2024, applies to the academic sessions 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Key Highlights of the Notification:

  1. Eligibility Criteria for Provisional Affiliation
    The exemption covers schools currently operating without valid affiliation, provided they fall under the following categories:

    • Schools on state land or involved in court/state land cases with deficiencies (except school-specific cases under S.O. 177).
    • Schools on proprietary land with deficiencies as per the norms of the School Education Department and JKBOSE.

  1. Application for Registration
    • Schools are required to register Class 9th students (2023-24 session) through online mode.
    • The registration period is 13-11-2024 to 18-11-2024, with a total fee of ₹2205 per student.
  2. Submission of Examination and Renewal Forms
    • Schools must accept examination forms for Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th, as well as renewal forms for Classes 11th and 12th through offline mode from 19-11-2024 to 22-11-2024.
    • Schools must deposit the collected fees at the designated JKBOSE branches or offices by 25-11-2024.
  3. Important Details
    • The list of eligible schools will be available on the official JKBOSE website: www.jkbose.nic.in.
    • There will be no extensions for the mentioned deadlines.
    • All other terms and conditions outlined in the earlier notification dated 15-10-2024 will remain applicable.
