Eligibility Criteria
Different educational qualifications are required for various positions in the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). For some roles, candidates must have completed Class 10 or 12, while others require a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Engineering, Technology, Law, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Additionally, relevant work experience and typing speed are important for certain positions.
Age limit
The upper age of the candidates should be 35 years for the vacant posts and minimum age limit should be 18 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.
Application fees
1. The application fee for two-hour tests candidates must pay Rs 750 exam cost plus ₹250 session fee for a total of Rs 1,000.
2. The application fee for One-hour exams is Rs 350 fee alongside Rs 150 for assessment time, amounting to Rs 500 remitted.
3. SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and Women candidates are exempt from paying the exam fee. Nevertheless, every candidate has to pay the appropriate exam session fee.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates for these positions will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 1,77,500, depending on the position and their experience.
Selection Process
Selection will occur through a written examination, followed by a skills test, document verification, and a medical examination.
