Government Medical College Srinagar Invites Applications for Tutor/Clinical Instructor Posts
Government Medical College Srinagar has released an advertisement notice (No. 04 AH of 2024) inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Tutor/Clinical Instructor, Level-6 (35400-112400) on an Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020.

- Commencement of Application Submission: November 25, 2024 (Monday) at 10:00 AM

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution/State Medical Faculty/J&K Paramedical Council.
- Number of Posts: 03 (Three)
Terms and Conditions of Contract:
- Nature of Engagement: Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020.
- Period: Initially for one year or until the posts are filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.
- Salary: Minimum of the pay scale in accordance with S.O. 364 of 2020.
- Agreement: Selected candidates must enter into an agreement with the institution and provide one month’s notice for abandonment or termination.
- Age Limit: Between 18 and 50 years as of 01-01-2024.

Selection Process:
- Selection will be based solely on merit obtained in a written test, the details of which will be notified subsequently.
- In case of a tie in the written test, the following criteria will be used to break the tie:
- Post Graduate with PhD Nursing will be preferred over Post Graduates.
- Post Graduate with higher aggregate marks will be preferred over others with the same qualification.
- In case of a remaining tie, the older candidate will be preferred.
