Eligibility Criteria

As per the Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022, candidates must possess MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh in the concerned discipline from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Candidates who have appeared in the final exam of their postgraduate course in the relevant field are also eligible to apply.

Important Instructions

Applications will be accepted online only via www.gmcs.ac.in from 05-06-2025 (9:30 AM) to 20-06-2025 (04:00 PM).
Candidates must sign up before filling the online application form.
Scanned copies of all required certificates including MBBS, MD/MS/DNB, internship, registration, and domicile must be uploaded.
Incomplete applications or those with blurred images will be rejected.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on merit and performance in the MCQ-based written test, as per Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024.

Application Fee

A non-refundable fee of ₹500 must be deposited via the designated payment portal on the official website.

Conditions

Maximum tenure of senior residency/tutorship is three years.
Those who have completed three years as Senior Resident/Tutor are not eligible to apply again.
In-service candidates must upload NOC from the parent department.
Non-service candidates will be paid stipend as per S.O. 364 of 2020.
