Govt Degree College Baramulla Advertised for Research Staff Positions
The Govt Degree College Baramulla (GDCB) has advertised for two research staff positions for a major research project titled “Echoes of Prolonged Displacement: Understanding Support System, Resilience and Mental Health in Internally Displaced and Relocated Kashmiri Pandits”.
The project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and will run for two years.
The Positions
- One Research Assistant position
- One Field Investigator position
Who can Apply
- For Research Assistant:
- You must have a postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- You should have knowledge of SEM/Path Analysis using IBM SPSS/AMOS and experience with mediation/moderation/conditional process analysis.
- You should also have good scientific writing skills.
- For Field Investigator:
- You must have a postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Experience of working on research projects or data collection in social sciences is desirable.
How much will you be paid?
- The Research Assistant position offers a consolidated stipend of INR 37000 per month.
- The Field Investigator position offers a consolidated stipend of INR 20000 per month.
How long will the positions last?
- The positions are for an initial period of six months, but may be extended for a further six months or until the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. This will depend on your performance, conduct and the availability of funds.
