ISRO Scientist/Engineer SC Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 63 Vacancies
Application Fees
There is a non-refundable application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only). The Application fee will be collected only through the Online mode via the Bharatkosh portal, and the link for making the payment will appear on submission of the online application.
Eligibility Criteria
- To qualify, candidates must have completed a B/BTech in Electronics & Communication, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science & IT with a minimum aggregate score of 65% from an institution recognized by the AICTE. Furthermore, candidates must have passed the GATE exam in 2024 or 2025 in the subjects of EC (Electronics and Communication), ME (Mechanical Engineering), or CS (Computer Science).
- Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not older than 28 years as of May 19, 2025. There is an upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates and 5 years for SC and ST candidates. Additionally, candidates with disabilities (PwBD) can receive an upper age relaxation of up to 10 years.
Salary Package
Individuals recruited as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ at ISRO will receive a monthly basic pay of ₹56,100 (Level 10) according to the 7th Central Pay Commission. In addition to this basic salary, they will also enjoy several benefits, which include Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, medical facilities, a pension scheme, and more.
Selection Process
The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement, and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for an Interview. Shortlisting of the candidates for Interview in the ratio of 1:7 shall be based on the GATE Scores awarded and not on GATE marks or GATE Rank.
