JKBOSE Issues Notification for Class 9th Online Registration for Academic Session 2024-25

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released a notification regarding the online submission of registration returns for Class 9th students enrolled for the academic session 2024-25. Eligible students studying in affiliated academic institutions or schools of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh can complete their registration through the official JKBOSE website (www.jkbose.nic.in).

Key Dates and Fees:

The registration schedule, along with the prescribed fee structure, is as follows:

  1. Regular Registration
    • Fee: ₹640 per candidate
    • Start Date: December 31, 2024
    • End Date: January 29, 2025
  2. Late Fee (First 10-Day Period)
    • Fee: ₹75 (additional to normal fee, total ₹715)
    • Start Date: January 30, 2025
    • End Date: February 9, 2025
  3. Late Fee (Second 10-Day Period)
    • Fee: ₹85 (additional to normal fee, total ₹725)
    • Start Date: February 10, 2025
    • End Date: February 19, 2025
  4. Late Fee (Third 10-Day Period)
    • Fee: ₹100 (additional to normal fee, total ₹740)
    • Start Date: February 20, 2025
    • End Date: March 1, 2025

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must attain 14 years of age by:
    • November 1, 2025, for students in Kashmir Division and the winter zone areas of Jammu.
    • May 1, 2026, for students in Jammu Division appearing for their Class 10th Secondary School Examination.

  1. School Responsibilities:
    • School in-charges must visit the JKBOSE website to submit the registration return forms.
    • Heads of institutions must verify and certify all student details before submission.
  2. Mandatory Guidelines:
    • Affiliated institutions must ensure no eligible student is left out of the registration process.
    • A certificate confirming the inclusion of all eligible students must be provided to the concerned Joint Secretary.
  3. Special Provisions for Disabled Candidates:
    • Candidates with a disability of 40% or more are exempt from paying the registration fee.
    • They must submit a disability certificate from a recognized medical board along with the registration form through their school.
